regulations regarding materials coming into
contact with food.
3. SAFETY WARNINGS
Before using your appliance for the first
time, read the following instructions
carefully and keep them for future
reference. Keep this manual throughout
the entire working life of the appliance.
Make sure that the mains voltage in your
home corresponds to that indicated
on the appliance. Only connect the
appliance to an AC power supply.
The electrical safety of your appliance
is only guaranteed if it is connected to
an efficient earth installation. If in doubt,
contact a qualified professional.
The appliance is designed for domestic
use only. Any other use is considered
unsuitable and therefore dangerous.
In order to avoid electric shocks, do not
submerge the mains connection, cable
or plug in water or any other liquid.
Only use the appliance with the mains
connection assembly provided. Do not
use any other type of mains connection.
Make sure that the inside of the grill plug
box is completely dry before inserting
the connection assembly. Shake the grill
tray in order to remove any excess water
and then dry the inside with a dry cloth.
Do not move the appliance whilst hot.
After use, unplug and leave to cool.
Do not leave the appliance on
unattended. Keep out of the reach of
children. Individuals suffering from motor
system impairments should not be
permitted to use the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance exposed to
the elements (rain, sun, frost, etc.). The
appliance is not designed for outdoor
use.
When the appliance is switched on, it
generates extremely high temperatures
which may cause burns. Do not touch
hot surfaces. Use the handles provided.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable and
heat-resistant surface.
Before connecting the appliance
to the mains, insert the connection
assembly into the plug box and turn the
thermostat to ‘0’.
Do not let the cable rub against sharp
corners, become trapped or come into
contact with the hot surfaces of the
appliance.
If the mains connection assembly, cable
or plug become damaged, have them
replaced by an authorised Technical
Assistance Centre.
Never use any electrical appliance if
the cable or plug are damaged, if it is
not working properly or if it has been
damaged in any way. Take the appliance
to an authorised Technical Assistance
Centre for examination and/or repair.
This appliance should not be used
by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be watched to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
For greater protection, we recommend
installing a residual current device (RCD)
with an operational residual current not
exceeding 30 mA. Ask your installer for
advice.
