STEP 1:

Using a weighted stringline (plumb line), determine the central

position of hood on the ceiling. It is best to centre the hood unit to

the cooktop below. Mark the position. Before making the cut out,

check for obstructions like electrical cables, etc.

Next measure the distance from cooktop to the ceiling and

decide the height you wish to position the hood at and take the

measurement as illustrated.

NOTE:

The height of the underside of the hood body must be a

minimum of 600 mm above an electric cooktop & 650 mm above

a gas cooktop and a maximum height of 1200 mm. If the

instructions of the hob specify a greater distance than the

minimum detailed, this shall be the minimum height for

installation. Building codes that stipulate a minimum dimension

may vary from state to state, please check with your local council

prior to installation.

TRENTO F7TN12S1 model only - The height of the underside of

the hood body must be a minimum of 1200 mm above a BBQ.

STEP 2:

Slide the two parts of the trellis (T) and (T1) to the required

height established in step 1.

When the height is set, insert the 8 screws (V2) to secure the

two parts of the trellis (T) and (T1) together.

Mark 4 drilling points on the ceiling, drill (2.1 ) Put in 4 x ø 8mm

expansion bolts and secure the trellis assembly (T+T1) to the

ceiling by the relative screws (V1)

Feed the Flexi Duct down the inside of the roof braket and let

hand , ready to be attached to the flange of the rangehood in

step 6
