3. General information
-Laws in some communities may restrict the use of remote starters. For example,
some laws may require a person using the remote start to have the vehicle
in view when doing so. Check local regulations for any requirements on
remote starting of vehicles.
-This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules and Innovation, Science and
Economic Development Canada’s license-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.

-This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.
-The controller complies with FCC/ ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure
Guidelines and RSS-102 of the ISED radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. This
equipment should be installed and operated keeping the radiator at least 20cm
or more away from person’s body.
-Consult your authorized Mazda dealer for installation of the remote control engine
engine starter system.
-The remote control complies with FCC/ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for
an uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure
Guidelines and RSS-102 of the ISED radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules as this
equipment has very low levels of RF energy.
