This vacuum cleaner is equipped with an "edge cleaning" function for cleaning carpet edges
near bas eboards and stationary furniture.

The R UG /F LOOR (TOOLS )selector should only be
adjus ted while the vacuum cleaner is turned on
and in the upright position.
When cleaning a rug or carpet,first turn the
ON/OF F switch to the ON position,and then
set the R UG /F LOOR (T OOLS )selector to the
R UG pos ition.
When cleaning a bare floor or when us ing
one of the attachments, s et the R UG /F LOOR
(TOOLS )selector to the F LOOR position.
C aution: Do not change the s etting of the R UG /F LOOR (T OOLS )selector while the vacuum
cleaner is turned off.
