Resolving a Ribbon Sensor Error (Ribbon Miscue)
All Troubleshooting procedures assume that only factory-authorized supplies are in use in
the Printer. (Note: Using the printer in direct sunlight may adversely affect the ribbon sensor
integrity.)
Step Procedure
1 Review the following information.
• Symptom: The Printer rolls through Ribbon and errors out.
• Printer Error State: The Printer cannot find the next panel on the Ribbon.
• Driver Monitor Error Display: Ribbon Sensor Error
