1. Material: Virgin grade polyvinyl chloride (PVC), 0.76 to 0.81 mm (0.030 to
0.032 inches) thick.
2. Laminated Components: ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene terpolymer) plastic,
laminated with hot stamping foil.

2.2 ACCESSORIES
The following paragraph is for constructing fire-resistant boxes over light fixtures in fire rated ceilings,
when so required.
A. Acoustic Sealant For Perimeter Moldings: Available from grid manufacturer.
B. Edge Moldings: J-Trim, color [_____] [to match ceiling panel], by Acoustic Ceiling
Products.
Specify one of the following adhesives, if surface mounted panels are used, or if panels must be adhered to
existing acoustic panels. The following two adhesives are known to work well with PVC panels, and
recommended by ACP.
C. Adhesive: Synthetic water-based adhesive [PL Latex FRP adhesive.] [PL Wall and
Tileboard adhesive.] [PL 100% polyurethane construction adhesive] [LN-950 Liquid Nails
Adhesive]
Include the notched trowel below if panels will be glued with a troweled adhesive.
D. Tools: Site-cutting tools, [and notched trowel] for installing panels.
