Fasco is pleased to announce that we’re now offering new motors
from ELCO: the Aftermarket High Efficient ECM-IP Series Motors and
Shaded Pole NU Series Motors.
ELCO Motors’ ECM-IP Series Motors are the company’s second
generation of high-efficiency electronically commutated motors, which
are widely used in industrial and commercial refrigeration for
condensing and evaporating units, food and beverage coolers,
freezers, supermarket display cases, walk-ins and reach-ins. These
new ECM-IP motors offer efficiency rates up to 70%, which is 4-5 times
more efficient than a traditional shaded pole fan motor. That means
pay back on new and retrofit applications can be as short as 6 months!
Features include:
• Moisture protection: Totally enclosed - IP65 & IP66 moisture protection grade
• Operation: All angle, continuous air over
• Rotation: CCW from shaft end
• Bearings: Long-Life Sealed Ball Bearings
• Cord terminals: 3 pin & 2 pin, 90°
• Fan blade hub: 4 pins (.133" Ø) on 1" Ø B.C.
• Front mounting: M4 studs on 3.72” B.C. for guard
• Drop-in replacement to front mount shaded pole/ECM
ELCO’s NU Series Aftermarket Shaded Pole Motors are widely
used in industrial and commercial refrigeration for condensing and
evaporating units, freezers, food and beverage coolers, bottle coolers,
walk-in and reach-in coolers and ventilating units. They’re suitable for
all angle operation, and offer multiple mounting features plus a wide
choice of fan blades and shrouds for best airflow.
Features include:
• Type: AC / shaded pole / 4 poles / single speed
• Range: From 1/375 HP to 1/20 HP (2 to 34 watts)
• Enclosure: Totally enclosed
• Bearings: Self-lubricating and self-aligning long life
Sintec sleeve bearings (Ball bearings on request)
• Duty: Continuous air over
• Insulation/Protection: Class B. Impedance or thermally protected
• Operation: Standard operating temperatures: -40°F to 104°F
(-40°C to 40°C)
