26W 12V LOW VOLTAGE CONSTANT VOLTAGE LED DRIVERS

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLATION

Installation should be carried out in accordance with the latest edition of the NEC/IEEE Wiring Regulations. For

use with all Favorite Monkey 12V constant voltage LED products. Constant voltage LED Fittings MUST be wired

in PARALLEL ensuring correct polarity. Failure to do so can cause permanent luminaire and/or driver failure.

PLEASE NOTE: 12V DC Output- correct polarity must be observed in order for the Constant Voltage LED to

operate.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Before commencing installation or maintenance, ensure electricity is switched off at the mains.

Keep the LED Driver away from direct sources of heat such as Low Voltage lamps.

Ensure that ALL electrical connections are tight with no loose strands.

This driver can be used with a dimmer on the input 110V AC side. See list below for tested Dimmers.

Suitable for direct mounting on or in cabinets or furniture.

Ensure that the Driver is not covered with insulation material and has an air gap of 50mm around the driver.

Connect the mains cable to the mains supply.

Undo the cover screw. AC input is the 3 screw terminal as

marked:

Connect the outputs to the

lamp

Undo the cover screw. DC output is the 2 screw terminal as marked:

Compatible Dimmers Note: • • All dimmable drivers will dim from 100% to 5%. Dimming performance is optimal at greater than 50% load so choose the right driver: 12W, 26W or 48W. Best Dimmers are 'Incandescent ONLY' followed by 'Incandescent / Halogen'. Avoid 'Universal' or ‘LED/CFL’ The below dimmers have been tested to work, but dim performance is dictated by: a) The type of Dimmer b) The Ratio of Load size to Dimmer max capacity. Best dimming is 50% to 80% Load.
