AESInputs

TheSP27SeriesunitshaveafullAESimplementationbuiltinasstandard.Thisallowstheunittoreceive

digitalaudiodirectly.Theswitchingofinputcanbeperformedindependently,andtheinclusionofsamplerate

convertersontheinputsallowstheunittoacceptsampleratesfrom32kHzupto192kHz.

Inputselectionisviaarecessedswitchontherear

paneloftheunit,betweeninputBandoutput1.A

redLEDinsidethisapertureilluminatestoshowthat

theAESdigitalinputshavebeenselected.

AcomplimentaryLEDonthefrontpanelalso

illuminates.TheswitchcontrolstherearpanelLED

directly,whilstthefrontpaneloneisviatheprocessor,

allowingittorelayalittlemoreinformation.

Ifitisflashing,thismeansthatAESinputshave

beenselectedbuthavenotlocked.Onceastable

AESsignalisbeingreceived,itwillbepermanently

illuminated.
