3.5 How to use Eddystone-UID Eddystone-UID can be used with the Android system’s Nearby. First you have to create a UID that has not been registered by anyone else. Then make the UID setting for the beacon. And register it on Google’s server and associate the UID with the corresponding push information on the Google’s server.

3.8 How does Google Nearby work Google Play service continuously scans for beacon devices in the background. Once it detects a beacon in the range, it sends queries to the Google Nearby database to check if the beacons have any attachments. If a beacon has any Google Nearby notification attached to it, it displays it to on the mobile device. 4.
