Maintenance Instructions

NOTICE

Early units of the union end ball valve shipped with a different O-ring groove dimension

than the current production. Two O-rings are provided with this kit--one for each design.

Select the O-ring to meet your application.

1) Unscrew the union connection and remove old O-ring.

2) Determine which new O-ring fits best in the groove.

Proper fit should be snug without extending past the outside

or inside diameter of the groove. O-ring should not bind or pinch.

3) Apply a thin film of food grade petroleum based O-ring lubricant to the new O-ring.

4) Place the new ring into the groove of the union connection and screw union connection

back together.
