4.5 Activating the Automatic Mode

The gate must be used in one of the Automatic Modes (Buffered Read, Notification

or Scan Mode) to get a maximum performance.

Which Mode is useful in your application, has to be defined in advance.

Here we describe the activation of the Buffered Read Mode.

Here the tags are read at maximum speed and the information is stored in the Reader’s ring buffer.

This data sets can be read by the host.

To activate „Buffered Read Mode“ proceed as follows:

Operation Mode:

„Mode“ - Buffered Read

Mode

„Data Selector“

-UID

-Antenna No

-Time

-Date

„Filter“

Set Transponder Valid

Time.

(e.g. 55 x 100ms)

Set clicking on „Apply“

Note:

The test of the Buffered Read Mode can be done via ISOStart or the BRMDemo program.
