Use of the straight output (ASW 18-6/12-PC (**))
Before using the power tool, make sure that
the maximum torque of 8 Nm is not
exceeded.
Meaning of the LED indicators and the beeps of the power tool.
The following conditions apply for the factory setting. Further indication options are possible
through Parameter Control (see PC software).

Green LED indicator lights up
(1 second).
The screwdriving operation has been
carried out properly. The preset shut-
off criterion (e. g. the torque) has been
achieved.
Red LED indicator lights up (1 second)
and a short beep sounds.
The screwdriving operation has not
been carried out properly. The
required shut-off criterion (e. g. the
torque) was not achieved. Alterna-
tively, a preset error criterion (e. g. a
too large rotation angle) was achieved.
Yellow LED indicator lights up perma-
nently.
The remaining battery capacity is
below 25 %. The battery must be
changed in foreseeable time.
Red LED indicator flashes (1 time per
second) and yellow LED indicator
lights up permanently.
The battery is discharged and must be
changed.
Red LED indicator lights up perma-
nently.
The power tool has a major defect.
The power tool must be repaired by
the after-sales service.
Red and yellow LED indicators light up
permanently.
– Problem with battery. Please contact
the after-sales service.
– The power tool can not be operated
with the battery type being used.
Red LED indicator flashes (1 time per
second).
– The power tool has a minor defect,
such as blocked motor. The power
tool is blocked in order to protect
the internal components. Remove
the battery and mount it again.
Ensure correct handling when per-
forming the next screwdriving oper-
ation.
– The predefined service interval has
been reached (LED indicator flashes
3 times after each screwdriving oper-
ation).
