Firing Cycle Fonctionnement Funktionsbeschreibung After ignition of the cartridge, the pressure developed by the propellant gases forces the slide to the rear. The empty cartridge case is taken along by the extractor and ejected upwards. The slide then continues on to the buffer in the locking device and draws it to the rear. At the same time the firing pin is cocked. During the rearward travel, the slide spring is cocked. It pushes the slide forward again after reaching the end of its travel.
Operation Utilisation Bedienung Trigger adjustments Réglage de détente Abzugseinstellungen Warning! The trigger adjustments as set by the factory guarantee utmost safety. When changing these trigger settings it is vital to make sure that the trigger point can still be felt clearly and that after firing there is still some creep in the trigger. Please observe all safety notes for handling the pistols as per page 10 of these instructions.
Fine adjustment of trigger Réglage précis détente Feineinstellung Abzug The trigger must be adjusted in such a way that there is no second trigger point and a precise release of the shot is achieved. This fine adjustment must be done with the weapon cocked, by means of screw (26). If the trigger slack and trigger point have been properly adjusted, the front edge of the trigger rod (27) must slide freely towards the trigger sear (28).
Control of trigger characteristics After having adjusted trigger slack, trigger point and trigger weight, you should control the trigger characteristics. In case of a “creeping” trigger, turn the trigger point screw to the right until the trigger pull is “crisp”.
