ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR F1839/5, F1840/6

IMPORTANT
TURN OFF THE POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE
OR CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
 Carefully unpack and identify all 
 parts before assembly. Bulbs are 
 not included.
1. Spread open arms evenly.
2. Carefully thread fixture wire through
top threaded pipe. Screw top threaded
pipe securely onto top coupler making
certain no slack in wire remains in
between. Place notched cover in
between arms locking in their position.
3. Carefully thread fixture wire  
 through fixture loop. Screw fixture 
 loop onto top threaded pipe
 until secure.
4. Through bottom opening of shade, 
install counter ring over shade  
washer onto threaded socket until
shades are secure. Through top opening
of shade, install light bulbs (Not
Included.) See relamping label at socket
area for bulb type and maximum
allowed wattage.
5. Follow enclosed “Chain Suspended 
 Fixture Installation Instructions”  
 for electrical and fixture installation  
 onto ceiling outlet box.
6. This fixture is supplied with 2  
 threaded chain links. These links are  
 opened and closed by twisting  
 cylinder on chain link. One threaded  
 chain link should be installed onto  
 the fixture loop and the other should  
 be installed onto the canopy loop.  
 The standard chain should be  
 installed in between these 2 threaded  
 chain links.

