Installation Instructions for
Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes.
Feed the power line wires through the three large holes on the mounting plate and secure the mounting plate to the
junction box.
Loosen the set screw on the strain relief using an Allen key.(Do Not Remove)
Feed the fixture cord through the strain relief and canopy.
Determine the fixture height (from the bottom of the fixture shade to top of the canopy) by moving the canopy and strain
relief up or down. When desired height is achieved, tighten the set screw on the strain relief using an Allen key.
Leave 6" of the cord behind the canopy for power connections and cut the excess cord. From the end of the cord, strip the
insulation 4" using a sharp knife. Strip the end of the wires. Repeat steps 1-6 forMake sure not to nick the inner wires.

Connect the white fixture wires (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
Connect the black fixture wires (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
Place all wires properly inside the canopy, place the canopy onto the threaded nipple, and secure it in place by screwing
the cap nut onto the threaded nipple.
