Festool cutters
Because quality means no compromise.
Compromise is out of the question for anyone
insisting on guaranteed quality. Festool therefore
recommends that you always use original Festool
routing accessories for all Festool routers. These
tools are manufactured to the same high standards
as the machines themselves, so you can rely on
their efficiency. The materials used are a special
type of high grade steel and highly wear-resistant
carbide. The tools include cutting blades that boast
exceptional micro-grain quality and density. Opti-
mum cutter geometry means the tools are synony-
mous with superior endurance and superb results.
The optimum material for every application:
Tungsten carbide: HW routers are ideally
suited to processing hardwood, board materials
and plastic.
High performance, high speed steel: This steel
has mechanical and thermal properties that are best
suited for routing soft materials such as spruce
and pine.
Tip: For optimum routing patterns, the cutters should
always mounted at the lowest depth possible, and
at least as far as the marking for minimum clamping
length on the router shank.
