4.3 Attaching Sensus Cable Fingers and Rack-Mounting the Sensus
Chassis
The Sensus chassis is rack mount capable and ships with rack 19” mount ears, with 21” and
23” adapters as optional accessories. These shall not be assembled on the chassis, but shall ship as
part of chassis order.
Rack mount ears are attached to the sides of the chassis using the included screws. Screw
length is not to exceed ¼ inch to avoid damage.
The Sensus cable fingers (optional) are used to maintain the proper bend tension to prevent
damage to cabling. These fingers secure to the rack mount ears as well as to the rack itself, and must
be installed when the chassis is mounted to the rack.
1. Line up the attached chassis mounting ears with the desired holes on the rack
2. Overlay cable support fingers onto the ears so that screw holes on the fingers, ears, and
rack are aligned
3. Secure with standard rack screws (not supplied)
