**Do not use Cortex screws with Good Life Decking. The scalloped bottom on Good Life boards does not provide sufficient material for the screw to “grab,” meaning a less secure installation and a far greater risk of
cracking due to pressure/vibrations over time. Instead, we recommend 2.5-inch #8 or #10 stainless steel or composite screws.
