PG 1 Operation Guide 3M-22 The 3M-22 programmable communicating thermostat operates via a simple keypad. To program or adjust your 3M-22, simply press your finger firmly on the keypad keys. The backlight will automatically light up. You can progam the 3M-22 with unique 7 days or use it like a 5-1-1 programmable with Saturday and Sunday different from all other days of the week. A program that fits your lifestyle can save energy.
PG Set Clock Set time of day • From the • Press screen, Press or to set the time. Press and hold to set the time in fast mode. to store your settings. Set day of the week • Press (SET DAY) once to set the day of the week. The day of the week display advances again to step throught the days of the week until the correct day (Initially SU for Sunday). Press is displayed. • Press to store your settings. Energy Saving Program This thermostat comes preprogrammed with an energy saving program.
• One of the TIME SLOT icons MORN, DAY, EVEN, NITE comes on. This indicates the TIME SLOT active in the energy saving program. For program details refer to the energy saving program chart. To Change the Program NOTE: 60 Second RuleDuring programming if a button is not pushed within 60 seconds, the unit will go out of the set mode. Everything you have input in this programming will automatically be saved.
PG COPY This will copy one day’s programming to the next day. Press COPY once. The information for the current day will be copied to the next day which will appear on the screen. Holding down COPY for over 3 seconds will copy to all 7 days. • Press to store your settings. Keypad Functions TIME Press (time backward) or for fast time set (15 minute step). (time forward) to set the current time. Press and hold the arrow DAY Press (SET DAY) to set the day of the week.

The Check Filter indicator blinks when your filter limit is reached.
PG LOCK The 3M-22 has a simple LOCK mode to avoid unwanted modifications to the thermostat. To LOCK: Press and hold HOME for 3 seconds The LOCK icon will show on screen, All buttons are locked except HOME. To UNLOCK: Touch and hold HOME for 3 seconds. The LOCK icon will go out. CALIB Your thermostat was accurately calibrated at the factory to ±1° F of actual ambient temperature.
HOLD This will make your 3M-22 act like a non-progammable thermostat. It will hold the target temperature you set indefinitely, until you turn HOLD off. Take care using the HOLD function as the program is now bypassed. To set a hold target temperature, press HOLD and use the +/- buttons to select your hold temperature. The HOLD icon will display on the HOME screen indicating you have changed the Target Temperature. The system will HOLD this temperature until you return to the manual screen.
PG To modify the HOLIDAY program, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. (morning, day, evening, night). • Select the Time Slot (period) you want to program or to set the time. • Select the desired start time of that Time Slot by pressing This is the starting time of the Time Slot. • Select the desired target temperature for that time slot by pressing the +/- buttons to select the desired temperature for that Time Slot. of the HOLIDAY program.
FAN Switch The fan control is normally in AUTO mode, meaning that the fan operates automatically with the HVAC system and the thermostat. When the fan switch is in ON, the fan will run continuously until switched back to AUTO. NOTE: Fan ON function is available in the OFF mode to allow simple ventilating. EMER HEAT If you set your 3M-22 for HEAT PUMP with auxiliary heat, EMER function is available with a switch under the top cover on the right.

Para programar o ajustar tu 3M-22, simplemente oprime las teclas con firmeza. La pantalla retroiluminada se encenderá. Puedes programar el 3M-22 para 7 días o usarlo con programación de 5-1-1 con el sábado y domingo diferentes del resto de los días de la semana. PG Configurar el Reloj Configura la hora • Desde la pantalla , oprime configurar rápidamente. • Oprime o para ajustar la hora. Mantén presionado el botón para para almacenar tus configuraciones. Selecciona el día de la semana • Presiona (CONFIGURAR EL DÍA) una vez para configurar el día de la semana. El día nuevamente mostrado cambiará (lnicialmente la pantalla muestra SU para domingo). Presiona para saltar los días de la semana hasta que se muestre el día correcto.
• Se encenderá uno de los iconos de TIME SLOT (INTERVALO), ya sea MORN, DAY, EVEN, NITE (MAÑANA, DÍA, TARDE, NOCHE). Esto indica cuál INTERVALO funcionará en el programa de ahorro de energía. Para obtener más detalles sobre el programa consulta la tabla del programa de ahorro de energía.
PG COPY Esto copiará la programación del día para el día siguiente. Oprime COPY una vez. La información del día actual se copiará en el siguiente día, el cual aparecerá en la pantalla. Mantener oprimido el botón de COPY (COPIAR) por más de 3 segundos, copiará la programación para los 7 días. • Oprime para almacenar tus configuraciones. Funciones del teclado numérico TIME (HORA) Presiona (retroceder hora) o (adelantar hora) para ajustar la hora actual.
Para configurar la frecuencia de SWING (FLUCTUACIÓN): • Oprime SWING (FLUCTUACIÓN) (bajo el icono ). • Presiona los botones +/- para seleccionar la fluctuacióndeseada de 0.5° a 2.0° F. La frecuencia del ciclo de HVAC será mayor a .5°F y menor a 2°F. La programación predeterminada es de 1°F • Oprime  F C para almacenar tus configuraciones. Configuración- Oprime f C para cambiar de oF a oC .
PG LOCK (BLOQUEO) El 3M -22 tiene un modo simple de LOCK (BLOQUEO) para evitar modificaciones no deseadas en el termostato. Para BLOQUEAR: Mantén oprimido HOME (INICIO) por 3 segundos Aparecerá el icono LOCK (BLOQUEO) en la pantalla, y se bloquearán todos los botones excepto HOME (INICIO) Para DESBLOQUEAR: Mantén oprimido HOME (INICIO) por 3 segundos. El icono de LOCK (BLOQUEAR) desaparecerá. CALiB Tu termostato se calibró de forma precisa en fábrica a ±1° F de la temperatura ambiente real.
HOLD (MANTENER) Esta función hará que tu 3M-22 funcione como un termostato no programable. Mantendrá la temperatura deseada que configuraste por un tiempo indefinido, hasta que desactives la función de HOLD. Debes tener cuidado al usar la función de HOLD ya que anula la programación previa. Para seleccionar la temperatura deseada, oprime HOLD y usa los botones de +/- para seleccionar la temperatura que desees mantener.
PG Para modificar el programa de HOLIDAY (FERIADO), mantén oprimido • Selecciona el Intervalo (período) que deseas programar • Presiona o durante 3 segundos. (mañana, día, tarde, noche). para seleccionar y configurar la hora de inicio deseada para ese Intervalo. Esta será la hora de inicio del Intervalo. • Selecciona la temperatura deseada para ese intervalo mediante los botones +/-. • Repite este procedimiento de configuración para los cuatro Intervalos del programa HOLIDAY (DÍA FERIADO).
Interruptor de FAN (VENTILADOR) Normalmente, el control del ventilador está en modalidad de AUTO, lo que significa que el ventilador funciona automáticamente con el sistema de HVAC y el termostato. Cuando el interruptor de ventilador está en ON (ENCENDIDO), el ventilador funcionará continuamente hasta que se coloque de nuevo el interruptor en AUTO (AUTOMÁTICO). NOTA: La función de ventilador ENCENDIDO está disponible en la modalidad de OFF (APAGADO) cuando se necesite ventilación simple.
