REMOVE EXISTING JOUNCE BUMPER 1 START THE INSTALLATION ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE WHEN FACING FORWARD. VEHICLE FRAME Unfasten and remove existing jounce bumper from the vehicle. JOUNCE BUMPER UNFASTEN BRAKE LINE BRACKET 2 Unfasten brake line bracket from jounce block. The existing fastener will not be used later.
3 PRE-ASSEMBLE AIR SPRING AND BRACKETS x2 1 Fasten Upper Bracket to Air Spring, as shown. LEFT SIDE 2 x2 Fasten the Lower Bracket to the Air Spring, hand-tighten only at this step. 3 x2 x2 x4 Note that the Air Fitting should be pointing to the inside of the Upper Bracket. RIGHT SIDE 3/8” - 16 FLANGE NUT 3/8” - 16 FLANGE NUT ELBOW AIR FITTING LEFT UPPER BRACKET ELBOW AIR FITTING Tighten until threadlock coating is fully engaged. Tighten until threadlock coating is fully engaged.
INSTALL THE FRAME BRACKET 4 x2 Vehicle front FRAME BRACKET VIEWED FROM BELOW t ron f icle h Ve Least distance Bracket end with greatest distance goes to rear of vehicle. FRAME BRACKET Fasten the Frame Bracket using existing jounce bumper bolt hole locations on vehicle. Greatest distance M10 x 1.5 x 30MM FLAT HEAD BOLTS FIT AIR ASSEMBLY INTO PLACE ON FRAME BRACKET le hic 5 nt fro Ve FRAME BRACKET Taller side of Upper Bracket goes to the outside of the vehicle frame.
6 INSTALL UPPER BRACKET TO FRAME BRACKET le hic nt x2 fro Ve 3/8” - 16 FLANGE NUT Insert the Hex Head Bolt through the aligned holes in the Upper Bracket and Frame Bracket. Fasten as shown with the Flange Nuts. 7 x2 3/8” - 16 x 3 1/2” HEX HEAD BOLT PREP LOWER SPACER FOR LOWER BRACKET INSTALLATION t ron f icle h Ve NOTE: The curved part of the Lower Bracket orients to the rear of the vehicle. LOWER SPACER Lower Spacer goes between the Lower Bracket and the jounce block on the vehicle.
LOWER BRACKET INSTALLATION 1 Follow guidelines below to dry fit assembly. Make alignment marks as shown. 2 Remove assembly and match alignment marks you made. le hic 3 Fully tighten the fastener into the Air Spring. 4 8 Install the assembly as shown. nt fro Ve M8 x 1.25 x 140MM HEX HEAD BOLT NOTE: Do not forget to install the Lower Spacer between the Lower Bracket and the jounce block.
9 REINSTALL BRAKE LINE BRACKET AND FASTENER 1 2 t ron f icle Install brake line bracket over the end of the M8 x 1.25 x 140MM Bolt. h Ve Fasten the bolt using the M8 x 1.25 Flange Nut, as shown. M8 x 1.25 FLANGE NUT AXLE BRAKE LINE BRACKET AWESOME! You’re done with the left side. The right side uses a different Upper Bracket (shown in Step 3), but the guidelines still apply. Go complete Steps 1-9 for t he right side, then continue to Step 10. 9 riderite.
INSTALL INFLATION VALVES x2 x4 x2 10 x2 IF USING THE OPTIONAL NO-DRILL INFLATION VALVE BRACKET, CHOOSE OPTION 1. IF DRILLING, CHOOSE OPTION 2. INFLATION VALVES MUST BE ACCESSIBLE BY AN AIR CHUCK. 1 Secure the Air Inflation Valve Bracket to a protected, secure location. PROCEED TO STEP 3. 2 3 Select a protected location to install the Inflation Valves, such as the bumper or the body of the vehicle. Drill two 5/16" holes for Inflation Valve install locations.
1 INSTALLING AIR LINE TUBE INTO AIR FITTINGS AND INFLATION VALVE Insert end of Air Line Tube into Air Fitting. 2 Push Air Line Tube into Air Fitting as far as possible. 3 Gently pull on the Air Line Tube to check for a secure fit. 4 To remove, push down collar and gently pull Air Line Tube away. Removal Tip: Use a 1/4ʺ, 5/16ʺ, or 6mm open-ended wrench to push the collar down.
CHECKING THE AIR SYSTEM 1 2 Place an air chuck onto the Inflation Valve and fill the system to 70 PSI. 14 Spray fittings with soap and water mixture. 70 PSI WATER + SOAP AIR SPRINGS INFLATE QUICKLY. CHECK AIR PRESSURE WHILE INFLATING. 3 Observe bubbles. SMALL SOAP BUBBLES THAT DO NOT EXPAND NO LEAKS? Congratulations! Continue to Step 16 to finish installation. 15 1 FIXING AN AIR LEAK Press the air valve on end of Inflation Valve to release all air pressure. 0 PSI AIR VALVE EXHAUST ALL AIR FROM THE SYSTEM PRIOR TO RELEASING AIR LINE TUBES FROM AIR FITTINGS. LEAK AT AIR LINE TUBE AND AIR FITTING LEAK AT BASE OF AIR FITTING ON AIR SPRING LEAK OUT OF THE VALVE CORE ON INFLATION VALVE Release Air Line Tube (see page 11). eview proper cuts and procedures R in Step 11. Repeat Steps 12 and 14. Tighten Air Fitting one turn or until leak stops.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION 16 SAFELY RETURN VEHICLE TO OPERATIVE STATE If you removed any wheels during installation, install the wheels and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications. Safely remove any jack stands and wheel chocks used during installation. Re-attach the negative battery cable. DOUBLE-CHECK AIR SPRING CLEARANCE Check the Air Springs once again for the proper 1/2" minimum clearance. Perform clearance check again when vehicle is under load.

Are your Air Springs standing 5 1/2” - 7" tall? 5 1/2" - 7" Are your Air Springs properly aligned, left-to-right and front-to-back? Are your nuts and bolts tight? Put your paper work back into the sleeve and keep it in your glove compartment for future reference.
