A Fire Extinguisher is a pressurized cylinder containing compressed gas, Nitrogen, and a dry

chemical extinguishing agent. There are no hazards when used and stored in accordance with the

instructions on the label and manual. A fire extinguisher could still have pressure in it even if the

indicator gauge is in the 0 psi range.

SECTION 10 - STABILITY AND REACTIVITY Chemical Stability: Stable Conditions to avoid: Extreme heat Incompatibility : Do not mix with BC type dry chemical extinguishing agents or other fire extingushing agents. Strong alkalis, magnesium, oxiders that can release chlorine or produce Nce3 (explosive) per NFPA 10 Annex A-2-1 NORMALLY STABLE. Hazardous polymerization will NOT occur. Ammonia and or phosphorous oxides can be evolved at very high temperatures.
