Benz. Please review this manual before installation as there are details that are essential to operation

of the vehicle. Please don’t forget to review the installation manual included with the DC unit.

Carefully pry up shifter boot using your fingers or the panel tool. 2. Pull upward on the front of the shifter bezel to release clips and remove. The shifter boot will fit through the hole in the bezel and stay attached to the shift lever. 3. Release the clips on the ashtray using the pick tool and remove. 4.

Pull downward on the knee bolster to release the clips holding it in then pull it outward to expose the EIS. The EIS is the ignition key switch. 34. If you have the EIS removal tool, you can loosen the retaining ring on the front of the EIS and re move it from the knee bolster panel to give easier access to the plugs on the rear. 35.
