• Turn the vehicle upright.
• Pull the handlebar up to be sure the steering column is secure.
• If you can remove the steering column, you have not assembled
the steering column retainer correctly. Please refer back to assembly
steps 3 and 4.

• Plug the handlebar connector into the motor connector.

• Place the lock nut (rounded side up) on to the end of the
steering column.
• Tighten the lock nut firmly using the closed end of the assembly tool.

• “Snap” the steering column cap over the lock nut.
