3. Hazards identification
The preparation is not classified as dangerous according to Directive 1999/45/EC and its amendments.
Specific Hazards
Ingestion
Acute Effects: Product may be harmful if ingested. May cause acute gastrointestinal irritation with abdominal pain.
Skin Contact
Acute Effects: May cause irritation with swelling, redness and pain.
Repeated or prolonged exposure may result in dermatitis.
Inhalation
Acute Effects: Product is sold is not expected to be an inhalation hazard. Nuisance dust can cause respiratory
irritation. Dusts can cause mucous membrane irritation with sore throat, coughing and shortness of breath.
Eye Contact
Acute Effects: May cause irritation, redness, pain, possible eye burns, conjunctivitis, ulceration and permanent
cloudiness.
Repeated or prolonged exposure may result in conjunctivitis.
4. First Aid Measures
Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting unless directed to by medical personnel. Flush mouth with large amounts of fresh water and
let victim drink some water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Seek medical attention.
Skin Contact
No emergency care anticipated. Wash skin with soap and water. Remove any contaminated clothing and wash
clothing before re-use. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Inhalation
Bring the victim to fresh air. Obtain medical attention. Qualified personnel may give oxygen if breathing is difficult
or cyanosis (blue discoloration of the skin) is noted. Give artificial respiration if subject is not breathing.
Eye Contact
Flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. If wearing contact lenses, remove lenses and flush eyes for
several minutes. If discomfort persists, seek medical attention.
