TROUBLESHOOTING
If, after checking the aforementioned conditions, the appliance still does not nebulise, we recommend
that you contact your dealer or an authorised Flaem service centre.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The device switches
on but does not
nebulise or nebu-
lises little.
• Medication cup and
mesh unit malfunc-
tioning.
• Immerse the medication
cup and mesh unit (2) in a
solution of water (50%) and
white wine vinegar, rinse and
reassemble as described in
section 6.3 SANITISING.
• No medicine supply in
the nebulising area.
• Check that the small hole in
the middle of the cover of
the medicine cup (2B) is not
obstructed, if so, clean it.
• The nebulising speed
depends on the type
of medicinal product
used.
• Liquid drawn from
mesh
• The inhaling treatment time
depends on the type of
medicinal product and on the
patient’s inhaling ability.
• Tilt: use it straight. When
tilted back, the drug does not
touch the mesh.
• Wipe the mesh gently with
a cotton bud or shake to re-
move droplets from the drug
outlet area.
The blue LEDs ash
and the appliance
switches o after a
few seconds.
The device turns
o.
• No liquid in the cup.
• 5 minutes have passed
since switching on.
• Check that there is liquid in
the medication cup (2).
• Switch the device on again.
The Key (1A) lights
up red ashing and
the unit does not
nebulise or switches

• Exhausted
or discharged batter-
ies.
• Replace batteries (6) if they
are alkaline.
• Recharge the Batteries if
they are rechargeable Ni-MH
or Lithium batteries.
The device does not
switch on.
• Problem with electric
power supply.

Check that the Batteries are in-
serted with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted or discharged bat-
teries. Replace or recharge.
