Se la tensione della batteria da 9 V scende al di sotto di un certo valore, il rivelatore segnala la necessità di cambiare la batterie (vedi Installazione/Montaggio/Collegamenti elettrici) con circa 30 giorni di anticipo attraverso un cicalino acustico (all'incirca ogni 45 secondi).
