Fin Guide Installation
1. Mortise the bottom of your door to receive the fin guide. Dimension
minimums for mortise: 3/8” wide x 1/2” height
2. At the jam opening, place the guide (as shown below) and keep the door in
a straight/vertical position.
3. Locate the guide so that when the door is in the open or closed position
the guide will always be concealed under the door.
4. Mark the inside of each guide hole onto the floor. (Use as a drilling
reference)
5. Drill the floor holes according to the type of fastener required specific to
your floor type. This guide requires 2 each maximum #8 fasteners.
6. Once you have drilled the floor for the guide, then simply secure it with the
fasteners and you’re done!
