TROUBLESHOOTING ENGINE OPERATION PROBLEMS OVERHEATS (Possible Situations) 1) Excessive engine loading. 2) Lack of proper lubrication. 3) Cooling air flow obstructed or clogged cooling fins. MAINTENANCE INFORMATION Brake Band Brake Adjustment WARNING Before starting the Yerf Pup each time, make sure the brake band is adjusted tight on the brake drum. This can be accomplished by tightening the nut shown on the brake assembly with a 7/16” Wrench. Nut 7/16” Wrench Nut Brake is tight when Brake Band cannot be moved side to side. Note: Do Not over tighten. Brake Band Brake Drum Cotton Swab Safety Flag Maintenance Periodic maintenance requires cleaning safety flag assembly.
