C.4.10 Setpoint Commands - Sn, Hn, Pn, An
The DAS 72.1 has 3 logic outputs where the status is dependent on the weight value (setpoint). Each logic output
can be assigned an independent setpoint value (Sn) with a corresponding hysteresis (Hn), switch action (Pn) and
base (An – switch on the gross or the net weight).

Similarly to read or set the logic output 2 or 3 setpoint, use S2 or S3 instead of S1.
H1 Hysteresis for logic output 1, 2 or 3
Using the H1 command, the hysteresis on the setpoint value is set by the numeric value. Permitted values
are 1 … 9 999.

Pn Switch Logic for output 1, 2 or 3
Using the P1 command, the switch characteristic setpoint S1 ”ON“ or ”OFF“ will be setup. Permitted values
are0or1.

Example switch logic P1=1 for setpoint (S1) of 2 000 kg (lines1&2oftable above):
When the weight is increasing between 0 kg and 2100 kg the logic output is “ON”. Once the weight increases
above 2 100 kg then the logic output is “OFF”. The logic output will come “ON” again when the weight value
drops below 2 000 kg.
Example switch logic P1=0 for setpoint (S1) of 2 000 kg (lines 3 & 4 of table above):
When the weight is increasing between 0 kg and 1 999 kg the logic output is “OFF”. Once the weight increases
above 1 999 kg then the logic output is “ON”. The logic output will switch “OFF” again when the weight value
drops below 1 900 kg.
