Eachprimarymeasurementfunction(selectedbyrotarydialposition)hasanumberof
optional sub‐functions or modes accessed by pressing the F1 key (MENU). A typical
menuisshownhere.
Menuselectionisindicatedbythedarkcoloredsquare
(designated as the ‘menu selector’ in this Instruction
Manual) to the
left of the menu item. Use the four
front panel cursor buttons(left, right, up, and down)
topositionthemenuselectornexttoamenuitem.As
the menu selector moves between menu items, the
fourFkeysandOKkeychangetoreflecttheavailable
functions and/or modes
available for the selection
menuitem.
THE‘HELP’UTILITY
While operating the meter, additional information regarding a selected function, a
front‐panel button, or a menu may be needed. Press the INFO key to open an
information window that lists topics covering the
functionsandmodifiersthatare availableat thetime
the button is pressed. Each topic provides a
brief
explanation on a meter function or feature. The
number of informational topics displayed at any one
time may exceed the display area. Use the keys
labeled NEXT and PREV to move from topic to topic.
Use the key labeled MORE, UP, and DOWN to scroll
throughtheinformationa
fullscreenatatime.
