16.2 Saving an image
General
You can save an image directly, without previewing the image first.
Image capacity
This table gives information on the approximate number of infrared (IR) and digital
camera (DC) images that can be saved on memory cards:

Naming
convention
The naming convention for images is IR_xxxx.jpg, where xxxx is a unique counter.
Procedure
To save an image directly, push and hold down the Autofocus/Save button for more
than 1 second.
NOTE
You can change the function of the Autofocus/Save button in the Settings menus.
The function can be set to one of the following:

Preview/Save.
■
Save directly.
■
Always preview.
