9.2 Progressive Environmental Stability Indicator for RH%
The Progressive Environmental Stability Indicator is useful for determining
when relative humidity readings on the MR277 have stabilized (for example,
when taking ambient readings in an air duct).
The circle next to the RH% display line fills and turns green when the relative
humidity reading stabilizes. The circular indicator is hollow when the reading
has not stabilized and fills in grey as stability is approached, finally filling in
completely and turning green when fully stabilized. Note that the RH% reading
digits also turn green when the reading has stabilized.
Figure 9.2 RH stability progression. In the example you can see how the circle fills as stabil-
ity is approached and finally reached.
Note that for areas where environmental conditions change frequently, the in-
dicator may not entirely fill and turn green, this is normal. The indicator is
available in the IGM™ Custom, IGM™ Moisture, and Psychrometric modes.
Use the menu to access these modes (Measurement) to locate the IGM™
modes:
and Image Mode to locate the Psychrometrics mode .
