You can assign different functions to the programmable buttons. For a complete list of
functions, see section 25.1.4 Programmable buttons, page 84.
13.11.2 Procedure
Follow this procedure:
1. Push the joystick to display the menu system.
2. Use the joystick to go to
(Settings).
3. Push the joystick to display the Settings menu.
4. Select Programmable buttons and push the joystick.
5. Select one of the buttons and push the joystick:
P Button: Hardware button
.
P2 Button: Hardware button
.
P3 Button (on screen): Software button P3 on the screen.
P4 Button (on screen): Software button P4 on the screen.
6. Select one of the functions and push the joystick.
13.12 Using the camera lamp as a flash
13.12.1 General
The camera lamp can be used as a flash for the digital camera. When the flash function is
activated, the camera lamp will flash when an image is saved by pushing the Save button
fully down.
13.12.2 Procedure
Follow this procedure:
1. Push the joystick to display the menu system.
2. Use the joystick to go to
(Settings).
3. Push the joystick to display the Settings menu.
4. Select Device settings and push the joystick.
5. Select Lamp & laser and push the joystick.
6. Select Enable lamp & laser + Use lamp as flash and push the joystick.
Note You can also assign the function Switch camera flash On <> Off to one of the pro-
grammable buttons. Select
(Settings) > Programmable buttons.
13.13 Changing lenses
Note Do not touch the lens surface when you change lenses. If this happens, clean the
lens according to the instructions in 31.2 Infrared lens, page 216.
