First Time Configuration Wizard User Guide
Alternative Configuration – Camera and Workstation settings
done through Windows Network and Sharing Center
This setting may be used when the user wishes to set up cameras (and workstations) on the existing
corporate network, without using the system’s auto-addressing and plug-and-play facilities.

To use this setup, select the Corporate option in the Network Selection screen, and click Next.
No Network Setup screen is provided. Proceed to the Video Standards step.
Note: The Meridian Server Hostname is already set. The Meridian license is tied to the hostname, and
therefore this hostname must not be changed, as this would require a new license.
Note: Older Meridian Hardware did not support a second NIC, and therefore the Network Setup step was not
required.
