Remote Setup
RS485
Configure options for a RS485 controller.
To configure RS485 options:
1. Use the drop-down menus to configure the
following options:
SYSTEM ID: Set the system ID from 0~255.
Note: The system ID on the RS485
contro
ller and the system must match in
order for the controller to function properly.

AUD RATE: Set the tra
nsmission rate for
the RS485 controller: 1200, 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200, 57600.
DA
TA BIT: Set the
size of each bit of data
sent to the RS485 controller: 6, 7, or 8.
PARITY BIT: Set the er
ror checking for the
data to EVEN, ODD, or NONE.
STOP BIT: Set bit for endin
g a transmission
to 1 or 2.
2. To save your settings to your DVR, click
Update to DVR.
PTZ
Set the model, speed, and ID for connected
PTZ cameras (not included).
NOTE: Please refer to your PTZ camera’s
in
struction manual prior to changing setting.
To configure PTZ options:
1. Under MODEL, select the following for the
channel(s) with a connected PTZ camera:
SPD
, SRX-100B, VC-C4R, SD-290,
SCC-643, PELCO P-TYPE/D-TYPE,
DSC-230, CS-854, DMP23, LPT-A100L,
BOSCH, TK-C655/C676, SK-D106, EZ,
PCS-SERIES, PTZ-200C, KALATEL,
VITEK, or NONE.
2. Under SPEED, select one of the following
for the channel(s) with a connected PTZ
ca
mera: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200,
57600, and 115200.
3. Under ID, click to set the PTZ ID from
0~255.
4. To save your settings to your DVR, click
Update to DVR.
