Appendix M: Remote Viewing using Internet Explorer
Connecting to Your DVR
With ActiveX installed, you can now view streaming video from your DVR.
To connect to your DVR:
1. In the IP address / Port text field,
en
ter your system
’s IP address or
DDNS address; click to enter
your system’s port number (by
default, 5400).
NOTE: The port number
you enter
on the site must match the port
number on yo
ur DVR.
2. Click Connect.
3. When prompted, enter your 8
-digit
system password (ADMIN: by
default, 11111111
) and click OK.
Live video appears from your
connected DVR.
NOTE: Split-screen layout depends
on the number of channels a
vailable
on your DVR.
