Using the Main Menu
HDD
Format a new hard disk and configure internal
hard disk settings.
To initialize the hard disk:
1. From the System menu, select HDD and
press the button.
2. From the HDD menu,
press the button
to open the HDD Initialize screen.
3. Select YES a
nd press the button.
[Select
NO and press the button to
cancel, or the button.] The
system
formats the hard disk, erasing all recorded
video data. System settings and
configurations rema
in intact. After a few
moments the system returns to the HDD
menu.
4. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY or SA
VE AN
D EXIT
to save your settings.
NOTE: If you replace the internal 2
.5" hard
disk, you should always initialize the new
disk. If you do not initialize (format) the new
hard disk, it may not be properly read by the
system.

ATTENTION: Initializing (formatting)
the HDD erases all data on the hard
disk. This step cannot be undone.

• KEY ECHO
• ADVANCED SETUP
• FIRMWARE UPDATE
