Using the Main Menu
VIDEO STANDARD
To set the video standard for the system:
1. From the System menu, select VIDEO
STA
NDARD. Press the
buttons to
select NTSC, PAL, or AUTO.
NOTE: If you
select
AUTO, the system will
automatically detect NTSC or PAL.
2. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY
or SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
LANGUAGE
To set the language for the system:
1. From the System menu, select
LANGUAGE. Press the
buttons to
select ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH,
GERMAN, JAPAN
ESE, ITALIAN,
PORTUNGESE, TURKISH, RUSSIAN, or
POLISH.
2. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.

lect SAVE ONLY
or SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
REMOTE CONTROL ID
To set the remote control ID for the system:
1. From the System menu, select REMOTE
CO
NTROL ID. Press the
buttons to
select 11,12, 13, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 31, 32,
33, 34, 41, 42, 43, 44
, or ALL.
2. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.

or SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
KEY ECHO
Enable/disable the keep beep when pressing
buttons on the remote control or front panel.
To enable/disable key echo:
1. From the System menu, select KEY
ECHO. Press t
he
buttons to select ON
or OFF.
2. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY or SA
VE AN
D EXIT
to save your settings.
