Using the Main Menu
ADVANCED SETUP (cont’d.)
User Authority
Set the limits and parameters for users of the
system.
To set user authority:
1. From the Advanced Setup menu, select
USER AUTHORITY and press the
button.
2. Press the
buttons to select from
the following options:
• REC
• SEARCH&PLAY
• COPY
• LIVE AUDIO
• DVR SETUP
• DVR STATUS
• PTZ CONTROL
3. Press the buttons to select a user
(U1~U4). Press the buttons to set the
authority ON/OFF.
NOTE: If ON, the u
ser password will be
required to perform
the desired function. By
default, all authorities are set to OFF.
4. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY
or SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
DVR MENU SETUP
Use the DVR Menu Setup option to save your
system settings to a USB flash drive, load
system settings, and restore system settings to
factory defaults.
To save your system settings:
1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port
on
the front panel of the syst
em.
2. From the Advanced setup menu, select
SAVE MENU TO FILE and press the
button.
3. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY or SA
VE AN
D EXIT
to save your settings.
To load system settings:
1. Insert the USB flash drive with your
previously saved system set
tings into the
USB port on the front panel of the system.
2. From the Advanced setup menu, select
LOAD MENU FROM FILE and press the
button.
3. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY or SAVE AN
D EXIT
to save your settings.
