Using the Main Menu
RS485
Configure options for a RS485 controller.
To configure RS485 options:
1. Press the
buttons to select
options.
2. Press the buttons to change the
values.
SYSTEM ID: Set the system ID from
0~255.
NOTE: The system ID on
the RS485
controller and the
system must match in
order for the controller to function
properly.
BAUD RATE: Set the transmission rate
for
the RS485 controller: 1200, 2400,
4800, 9600, 19200, 57600.
DATA BIT: Set the size of each bit of data
sent to the RS485 controller: 6, 7, or 8.
PARITY BIT: Set the error checking for the
data to EVEN, ODD, or NONE.
STOP BIT: Set bit for ending a
transmission to 1 or 2.
3. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY or SA
VE AN
D EXIT
to save your settings.
PTZ
Set the model, speed, and ID for connected
PTZ cameras (not included).
NOTE: Consult the own
er’s manual of your
PTZ camera for more information on
configuring these settings.
To configure PTZ options:
1. Press the
buttons to select
channels. Press the
buttons to
select between MODEL, SPEED, and ID;
press to chan
ge pages (16-channel model
only).
2. Press the
buttons to change the
values.
MODEL: Select from PCS-SERIES, EZ,
SK-D106, TK-C655/C676, BOSCH,
PELCO P-TYPE/D-TYPE, LPT-A100L,
DMP23
, CS-854, DSC-230, SD-290,
VC-C4R, SRX-100B, SPD, and NONE.
SPEED: Select from 1200, 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200, 57600
ID: Select from 0~255.
3. Press the button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select SAVE ONLY or SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
