Stair Nose Installation
Stair Nose: This piece of trim is used to cover the front edge of the step.
Installation:
There is a groove in the stair nose, however it is not meant to click into the flooring. Apply a
bead of urethane-based construction adhesive into the groove of the Stair Nose. Fit the
Stair Nose flush with the floor. Allow 24-48 hours to dry before subjecting to foot traffic.
To further secure the Stair Nose, set finishing nails every 6 - 8 inches. If noticeable, wood
putty can be used to fill in the nail holes.
