4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE: First check victim for contact lenses and remove if present. Immediately flush victim's eyes
with large quantities of water for at least 15 minutes, holding the eyelids apart. Get medical attention if
irritation persists.
SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If rash or irritation
develop, get medical attention. Launder clothing before re-use.
INGESTION: If conscious, rinse mouth with water. DO not induce vomiting unless directed by
medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Get
immediate medical attention.
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult have qualified personnel
administer oxygen. If victim is unable to breathe, apply artificial respiration. Get medical attention.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use any extinguishing media that is suitable for the surrounding fire.
UNUSUAL FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARDS: The product is an aqueous solution and will not
burn. If the liquid is allowed to evaporate, the solid residue will burn. .
SPECIAL FIRE-FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS: Firefighters should wear positive pressure self-
contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: If the water evaporates, decomposition of the solids
may produce oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Wear appropriate protective clothing as described in Section 8. Contain and collect using inert
absorbent materials and place in appropriate containers for disposal. Report releases as required by
local, state and federal authorities.

HANDLING: Avoid contact with the eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing vapors and mists. Use
with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
STORAGE: Keep containers closed. Keep from freezing. Store above 40°F.
