1. Belangrijke informatie 1.1 Gezondheid Belangrijk: lees eerst deze handleiding en volg de instructies nauwkeurig op voordat u het product gaat gebruiken. · Raadpleeg een deskundige om het trainingsniveau te bepalen dat voor u het beste geschikt is. · Indien u tijdens het trainen last krijgt van duizeligheid, misselijkheid of ander lichamelijk ongemak, stop dan direct met trainen en raadpleeg een arts. · Houd tijdens het trainen uw hartslag in de gaten en stop onmiddellijk bij afwijkende waarden.
1. Belangrijke informatie · Begin uw trainingsprogramma langzaam en bouw dit geleidelijk op. · Draag altijd geschikte kleding wanneer u aan het trainen bent. Draag geen te wijde kleding, die tussen bewegende delen van het product kan komen. · Gebruik voor het verplaatsen van het product altijd daarvoor geschikte tiltechnieken om rugklachten te voorkomen. · Controleer regelmatig of schroeven en bouten goed vastzitten en draai ze indien nodig aan.

Er kunnen verschillende redenen zijn waarom u tot aankoop van dit fitness product bent overgegaan. Wat het ook mag zijn, verbeteren van conditie, afvallen, revalideren of omdat u gewoon graag wilt bewegen, zorg dat u een duidelijk doel voor ogen heeft. Maak een haalbaar trainingsschema en u zult het gewenste resultaat behalen.

3. Fitness Wat is fitness? In het algemeen is een fitnessoefening te omschrijven als een activiteit die er voor zorgt dat uw hart meer zuurstof via het bloed van uw longen naar uw spieren pompt. Hoe zwaarder de training, hoe meer brandstof (zuurstof) de spieren nodig hebben en hoe harder het hart moet werken om zuurstofrijk bloed naar de spieren te pompen. Als u in een goede conditie bent, kan uw hart met elke hartslag meer bloed pompen.
3. Fitness De beste manier om te beginnen met trainen is per persoon verschillend. Als u ongetraind bent of overgewicht heeft, moet u rustig aan beginnen en uw trainingsarbeid geleidelijk opvoeren. In het laatste hoofdstuk van deze gebruiksaanwijzing (zie: 5.Algemene informatie) staan verschillende trainingsschema’s weergeven. Deze schema’s kunt u gebruiken bij het bereiken van uw trainingsdoel. Het programma is verdeeld in twee fasen.
3. Fitness 3.2 Warming up en cooling down Een goed trainingsprogramma begint met een warming up en eindigt met een cooling down. Hiermee kunnen spierpijn en blessures worden voorkomen. Hieronder vindt u een aantal geschikte oefeningen. Head Roll Kantel uw hoofd naar rechts. Hou dit één tel vast, zodat u de linkerkant van uw nek licht voelt trekken. Doe dezelfde beweging naar links, naar voren en naar achteren. Herhaal dit twee tot drie keer. Toe Touch Buig langzaam voorover met ontspannen armen en rug.
4. Gebruik 4.1 Montage stap 1 1. Monteer de voorpoot (2) en de achterpoot (19) aan het hoofdframe (1). Gebruik hiervoor de inbusbouten (3), sluitringen (6), veerringen (7) en bolkop moeren (8). Zie fig. A. Draai deze stevig vast. 2. Door het wieltje aan weerszijde van de achterpoot (19) te draaien, kan de hoogte worden ingesteld. Hiermee kan de crosstrainer water pas worden gezet.
4. Gebruik stap 2 1. Monteer de pedalen (21L & 21R), op de linker- en rechter pedaalstang (11) met behulp van ringen (73) en de pedaal verstelknop (77). Zie fig. (a) 2. De pedalen(21L & 21R) kunnen in 3 verschillende posities bevestigd worden Zie fig.
4. Gebruik stap 3 1. Schuif de hoofdframe afdekkap (49) over de stuurbuis (10) zoals afgebeeld in fig. (a) 2. Verbind vervolgens de bovenste communicatiekabel (29) met de onderste communicatiekabel (30), zoals afgebeeld in fig. (b). 3. Monteer de stuurbuis (10) aan het hoofdframe (1) met behulp van sluitringen (6), Veer ringen ( 7) en inbusbouten (9), zoals afgebeeld in fig. (c) en schuif vervolgens de afdekkap (49) weer naar beneden. 4.
4. Gebruik stap 4 1. Monteer de bovenste communicatiekabel (29) aan de computer (64). 2. Monteer de computer (64) aan de stuurbuis (10) met de bouten (76).

4. Gebruik stap 6 1. Monteer de computer afdekkap achter (67) en de computerafdekkap voor (68) met behulp van de schroeven (90) en (63) aan de stuurbuis (10). 2. 4. Gebruik Opstarten Plug de adapterkabel in het contact van het apparaat. Het systeem geeft een kort geluidssignaal en het display licht op. Indien er 4 min. lang geen gebruik wordt gemaakt van de crosstrainer, zal de computer overschakelen naar “stand by”. Training selectie De computer bevat 6 veschillende trainingen. Druk op de UP of DOWN knop om een training te selecteren: MANUAL [ BEGINNER [ ADVANCED [ SPORTY Op de volgende pagina’s wordt iedere training toegelicht.
4. Gebruik MANUAL training Naast de eerder beschreven wijze, kunt u ook in het MANUAL programma komen door de START knop in te drukken als u in het hoofdmenu bent. Het MANUAL programma is een programma met een constante weerstand en waarbij de waarden TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, PULSE van te voren kunnen worden ingesteld. Tijdens de training kan de weerstand handmatig worden aangepast. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Druk op de MODE knop om de volgende waarden te selecteren: TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, PULSE.
4. Gebruik Voorgeprogrammeerde trainingen Er kan ook gekozen worden voor een voorgeprogrammeerde training. Hierbij varieert de weerstand volgens een bepaald profiel. In totaal zijn er 12 profielen die zijn ingedeeld in 3 groepen. Te weten; BEGINNER, ADVANCED en SPORTY. Onderaan deze pagina staan de 12 profielen weergegeven. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 22 Gebruik in het hoofdmenu de UP of DOWN knop om de gewenste trainingsgroep BEGINNER, ADVANCED of SPORTY te selecteren.
4. Gebruik Cardio trainingen Bij deze training is er de mogelijkheid om hartslag gestuurd te trainen. Er zijn 4 verschillende mogelijkheden: 55%, 75%, 90% of Target Heart Rate (TAG). Het niveau is een percentage van uw maximale hartslag, die berekend wordt a.d.h.v. uw leeftijd. 55% : vetverbranding 75% : vetverbranding en conditie verbetering 90% : conditie verbetering TAG : niveau zelf in te stellen 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
4. Gebruik Watt training Bij deze training kan er worden ingesteld op welk vermogen u wilt trainen. De computer past automatisch de weerstand aan, zodat uw geleverde vermogen constant blijft. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 24 Gebruik in het hoofdmenu de UP of DOWN knop om de WATT training te selecteren en druk op de MODE knop om te bevestigen. Stel vervolgens met de UP of DOWN knop het gewenste vermogen in (fabrieksinstelling 120) en druk op de MODE knop om te bevestigen.
4. Gebruik Training met behulp van iConsole+ App De DCT250i computer biedt de mogelijkheid om via uw smartphone of tablet te trainen. Hiervoor dient u de iConsole+ app te downloaden. Deze app is uitsluitend te gebruiken voor: IOS besturingssysteem: - iPod touch (5th generation) - iPod touch (4th generation) - iPod touch (3rd generation) - iPhone 5 - iPhone 4S - iPhone 4 - iPhone 3GS - iPad Mini - New iPad - iPad 2 - iPad Android besturingssysteem: - Android tablet OS 4.
4. Gebruik Training met behulp van iConsole+ App Allereerst dient u de iConsole+ app te downloaden. Afhankelijk van het besturingssysteem van de tablet of smartphone moet u naar Google Play Store of Apple App Store om de iConsole+ app te downloaden. U kunt ook onderstaande QR code scannen om direct de app te kunnen downloaden. Voor Android tablets kan het beste de iConsole HD app gedownload worden. De iConsole+ app is geheel gratis.
4. Gebruik Op de volgende pagina’s staat het gebruik van de iConsole+ app beschreven. Er is een beschrijving voor zowel de tablet app als de smartphone app. Let op: deze app wordt regelmatig ge-update. Het kan daarom zijn dat deze handleiding onvolledig is. Ga naar http://www.flowfitness.nl/nl/service/gebruiksaanwijzing.php waar u de meest recente handleiding kunt downloaden. Tablet toepassing De iConsole+ app bevat 4 menu’s: 1. TRAINING 2. GYM CENTER 3. SETTINGS 4.
4. Gebruik Ten tweede kunt u in dit menu uw persoonlijke gegevens invoeren. Deze gegevens worden gebruikt bij de verschillende trainingsprogramma’s en voor het opslaan van uw trainingen in het INFORMATION MENU. Tevens kan er hierdoor gebruik worden gemaakt van de aanvullingen op de Iconsole+ app die staan weergegeven in het GYM CENTER MENU. Druk hiervoor op “MY PROFILE”, zodat u in het persoonlijke gegevensmenu komt. U dient allereerst een account aan te maken.

4. Gebruik PROGRAM - Voorgeprogrammeerde trainingen Het trainingsprogramma PROGRAM bevat meerdere voorgeprogrammeerde trainingen. Hierbij varieert de weerstand volgens een bepaald profiel. In totaal zijn er 12 profielen. Door te “swipen” kunnen de verschillende trainingen bekeken worden. Indien de gewenste training is geselecteerd druk dan op het profiel om in de training te komen.
4. Gebruik Indien u een gewenst programma heeft geselecteerd kunnen de volgende waarden worden ingesteld: TIME, DISTANCE en CALORIES. Als er geen waarden worden ingesteld en direct op start drukt lopen alle waarden op. Iedere 2 minuten gaat het programma dan naar een volgende fase. De waarden zijn afzonderlijk in te stellen door op de sleutel naast de waarde te drukken. Vervolgens verschijnt er een draaiknop. Door deze naar rechts of links te draaien kan de waarde worden ingesteld.
4. Gebruik Als het programma afgelopen is kan er met behulp van de HOME knop terug worden gekeerd naar het hoofdmenu. Er is ook de mogelijkheid om de resultaten te “posten” op Facebook of Twitter. Hiervoor dient u een account te hebben en in te loggen. QUICK START - Direct starten Het QUICK START programma is een programma waarbij u niets hoeft in te stellen alleen de weerstand. Als er gestart wordt met de training lopen de waarden TIME, DISTANCE en CALORIES op.
4. Gebruik HRC - hartslaggestuurd programma Indien u een hartslaggestuurd programma wenst, selecteer dan HRC in het trainingsmenu. Vervolgens is er een keuze uit 3 hartslag niveaus: 55% WARM UP 65% FAT BURNING 75% ENDURANCE TRAINING om uw training mee te beginnen (10 min.) vetverbranding (minimaal 30 min.) conditie verbeteren (afhankelijk van basis conditie) Naast de 3 voorgeprogammeerde HRC programma’s, kunt u ook kiezen voor een zelf in te stellen HRC programma.
4. Gebruik Druk op de knop met CUSTOM en er verschijnt een toetsenbord waarmee het gewenste % van de maximale hartslag ingevoerd kan worden. Druk vervolgens op OK om de training te beginnen. Het scherm hieronder verschijnt en de waarde TIME is in te stellen, zoals eerder is beschreven bij PROGRAM. De meter linksboven in het scherm is de TARGET HR. Dit is het doel hartslagpercentage waarop u moet trainen. De meter in het midden geeft aan in welk weerstandniveau (1-16) u aan het trainen bent.
4. Gebruik WATT - Watt gestuurd programma Selecteer het Watt gestuurde programma door in het trainingsmenu op WATT te drukken. Het onderstaande scherm verschijnt. Het standaard ingestelde Watt niveau is 100 Watt. Dit staat op de meter linksboven in het scherm. Door op TARGET WATT te drukken is een ander vermogen in stellen (zie beschrijving instellen CUSTOM HRC bij HRC).
4. Gebruik GYM CENTER MENU In het GYM CENTER verschijnen aanvullingen op de iConsole+ app. Een leuke gratis aanvulling zou IROUTE kunnen zijn. Om deze aanvulling te gebruiken dient uw tablet verbonden te zijn met het internet. Druk op de IROUTE balk en u komt in het menu waar u een route kan invoeren. Druk op PLAN MY OWN ROUTE. Vervolgens ziet u een landkaart. In de tekstbalk bovenaan het scherm kunt u nu een locatie intypen.
4. Gebruik Druk vervolgens op de START knop en u doorloopt uw eerder ingevoerde route. Tijdens het trainen kunt u zelf nog “street view” of “hybride” of “standard” selecteren. Indien u een andere route wilt invoeren gaan dan terug naar het GYM CENTER menu en doorloop de eerder beschreven stappen. INFORMATION MENU In dit menu vindt u onder andere de opgeslagen trainingen. Druk hiervoor op het iConsole+ logo en onderstaand scherm zal verschijnen. Er zit geen limiet aan het aantal op geslagen trainingen.
4. Gebruik Smartphone toepassing De iConsole+ app bevat 4 menu’s: 1. TRAINING 2. GYM CENTER 3. SETTINGS 4. INFORMATION alle beschikbare trainingen alle extra aangekochte toevoegingen in te stellen waarden en profiel trainingshistorie Alle 4 menu’s worden hieronder beschreven. SETTING MENU Voordat u van start gaat en de iConsole+ app optimaal kunt gebruiken dient u eerst de instellingen in te voeren in het SETTING menu.
4. Gebruik Klik vervolgens op de bijgevoegde link om uw account te activeren. Vervolgens verschijnt de melding The account’s email has been validated! Nu kan er ingelogd worden met behulp van het emailadres en het wachtwoord. Indien u een Facebook of Google account heeft kunt u daar ook mee inloggen. Door op EDIT te drukken kunnen de persoonlijke gegevens worden ingevoerd. U kunt zelfs een foto toevoegen. Dit doet u in de EDIT mode op het cameraatje te drukken.

Gebruik In het TRAINING MENU van de iConsole+ app ziet u 4 verschillende typen programma’s: PROGRAM QUICK START HRC WATT Voorgeprogrammeerde trainingen Direct starten Hartslaggestuurd trainingsprogramma Watt gestuurd trainingsprogramma PROGRAM - Voorgeprogrammerde trainingen Het trainingsprogramma PROGRAM bevat meerdere voorgeprogrammeerde trainingen. Hierbij varieert de weerstand volgens een bepaald profiel. In totaal zijn er 12 profielen.
4. Gebruik De waarden zijn afzonderlijk in te stellen. Als eerste verschijnt TIME. Met behulp van het toetsenbord kan een waarde worden ingevoerd. Door het TIME vakje naar links te “swipen” verschijnt vervolgens DISTANCE en CALORIES. Indien u de afstand of te verbrande calorien niet wilt invoeren. Kunt u op DONE drukken en het programma zal starten. Tijdens de training is de weerstand te verzwaren of te verlichten. Druk op de 1 in het rode vlak in de rechter bovenhoek.
4. Gebruik Als het programma afgelopen is kan er met behulp van de HOME knop worden teruggekeerd naar het hoofdmenu. Er is ook de mogelijkheid om de resultaten te “posten” op Facebook of Twitter. Hiervoor dient u een account te hebben en in te loggen. QUICK START - Direct starten Het QUICK START programma is een programma waarbij u niets hoeft in te stellen alleen de weerstand.
4. Gebruik HRC - hartslaggestuurd trainingsprogramma Indien u een hartslaggestuurd programma wenst, selecteer dan HRC in het trainingsmenu. Allereerst moet het doel hartslagniveau worden ingevuld. Standaard staat dit ingesteld op 65%. Hieronder vindt u 3 verschillende hartslagniveau adviezen: 55% WARM UP 65% FAT BURNING 75% ENDURANCE TRAINING om uw training mee te beginnen (10 min.) vetverbranding (minimaal 30 min.
4. Gebruik GYM CENTER MENU In het GYM CENTER verschijnen aanvullingen op de iConsole+ app. Een leuke gratis aanvulling is IROUTE. Om deze aanvulling te gebruiken dient uw tablet verbonden te zijn met het internet. Druk op de IROUTE balk en u komt in het menu waar u een route kan invoeren. Druk op PLAN MY OWN ROUTE. Vervolgens ziet u een landkaart. In de tekstbalk bovenaan het scherm kunt u nu een locatie intypen. Het is ook mogelijk door middel van het plaatsen van twee locatiepunten een route te bepalen.
4. Gebruik INFORMATION MENU In dit menu vindt u onder andere de opgeslagen trainingen. Druk hiervoor op het iConsole+ logo en het rechter scherm zal verschijnen. Er zit geen limiet aan het aantal op geslagen trainingen.
4. Gebruik 4.3 Onderhoud De metalen en kunststof onderdelen van de crosstrainer zijn met standaard schoonmaakmiddelen te reinigen. Zorg er echter wel voor dat alle onderdelen goed droog zijn, voordat deze weer worden gebruikt. Flow Fitness adviseert om eens in de zes weken de bouten en moeren van de scharnierpunten te controleren en indien nodig aan te draaien. Gebruik hiervoor het bij het product aangeleverde gereedschap.

Maximaal 4 keer per week. Warming up 5 - 10 minuten. Train 5 minuten. Rust 1 minuut. Train 3 minuten. 1 minuut rustig bewegen.
5. Algemene informatie Trainingsschema week 5 en 6 Train op 60% van uw maximale hartslag (programma 7). Maximaal 5 keer per week. Warming up 5 - 10 minuten. Train 6 minuten. Rust 1 minuut. Train 4 minuten. 3 minuut rustig bewegen. Cooling down 5 minuten. Na het volbrengen van het zes weken durende introductie trainingsschema, kunt u een keuze maken uit vervolgtrainingen. U kunt kiezen tussen een trainingsschema om gewicht te verliezen of een trainingsschema om conditie te verbeteren.

6. Garantie 6. Garantie Flow Fitness verleent een garantie aan huis van 3 jaar op onderdelen, voorrijkosten en uurloon, te rekenen vanaf de datum van aankoop. De garantie heeft uitsluitend betrekking op materiaal- en/of productiefouten. Indien u optimaal gebruik wilt maken van deze garantie, vul dan het online garantie aanmeld formulier in en voeg daarbij een kopie van het aankoopsbewijs. Dit formulier kunt u vinden op: www.flowfitness.nl/nl/service/garantie.
7. Probleemoplossen 7. Probleemoplossen Probleem Tijdens het trainen piept of kraakt de crosstrainer. Oplossing Piepen of kraken wordt in veel gevallen veroorzaakt door dat een kunststof kap die tegen het metalen frame of stang schuurt. Om dit te verhelpen kunt u er WD40 olie op spuiten. 3. Fitness What is fitness? Generally it can be described as an fitness exercise that causes your heart to pump more oxygen to your muscles via the blood from your lungs. The harder the workout, the more fuel (oxygen) the muscles require to achieve this rate of oxygen. The heart has to pump harder to get the oxygenated blood into the muscles. If you have a good stamina, your heart pumps more blood with each heartbeat.
3. Fitness For each individual the best way to start training is different. If you have not exercised in some time or are overweight, you should start your training schedule slowly and gradually increase the level of activity. In the last chapter of this instruction manual you will find several different training schedules (chapter 5. general information). You can use these schedules to reach your training goals. The schedules are divided in two phases.
3. Fitness 3.2 Warming up and cooling down A good training schedule starts with a good warming up and ends with a cooling down of the muscles. This will prevent painful muscles and injury. Below you will find some suitable exercises. Head Roll Tilt your head to the right. Hold this for one second, so that you feel a little pull in the muscles on the left side of your neck. Do the same for the other side, front and back. Repeat two or three times.

Browse trough the profiles by “swiping”, until the preferred training is found. Start the training by pressing the preferred profile.
4. Use When you have selected the preferred profile a few values have to be entered: TIME, DISTANCE and CALORIES. If no values are entered and start is directly pressed all values will increase. Every 2 minutes the program will go to the next phase. The values can be entered individually by pressing the wrench next to the value. The scroll wheel will appear. By turning the scroll wheel clock or counter clockwise the value can be set. Go back to the program by pressing the wrench again.
4. Use When the program is finished you can return to the main menu by pressing the HOME button. After a training your able to “post” your result on Facebook or Twitter. For posting you need an account to log in. QUICK START - Start directly with a training With the QUICK START program you don’t have to set anything except the resistance. The values TIME, DISTANCE and CALORIES will increase during the training. The resistance can be increased or decreased by “swiping” the brown lever up or down.
4. Use HRC - Hear Rate Controlled program When you want to train by using your heart rate, select HRC in the training menu. There will be a choice of 3 levels: 55% WARM UP 65% FAT BURNING 75% ENDURANCE TRAINING to start your training (10 min.) Fat buring (minimal 30 min.) Improving stamina (depends on you basis stamina) Next to the 3 preset HRC programs your able to create your own HRC program. “Swipe” (when in the screen shown above) to the right and you will get into the CUSTOM HRC program.
4. Use Press the button with CUSTOM and a keyboard will appear where you can enter the preferred percentage % of you maximal heart rate. Press OK to start the training. A screen like the one shown below will appear and the value TIME can be set, as previously described in PROGRAM. The meter left on the screen is showing the TARGET HR. This is your training heart rate goal. The meter in the middle shows the current resistance level (1-16). The meter on the right is the displaying the CURRENT HR.
4. Use WATT - Consistent Watt program Select the consistent Watt program by pressing WATT within the training menu. The screen below will appear. 100 Watt is the default Watt level. This is shown by the left meter on the screen. By pressing TARGET WATT the output can be set (see description set CUSTOM HRC under HRC). It is also possible to set the TIME, DISTANCE and CALORIES. (see description set values under PROGRAM) The TARGET WATT is displayed in the left meter on the screen.
4. Use GYM CENTER MENU The GYM CENTER will shown additional items of the iConsole+ app. A great free addition could be IROUTE. To use this addition your tablet needs to be connect to the internet. Press IROUTE in the bar and a menu will pop up where you can set your own route. Press PLAN MY OWN ROUTE. You will see a map with a bar on top where you can enter an location. It is also possible to create a route by using two location points.
4. Use Press the START button and start to train on the route you just have set. During the training you can switch between “street view” or “hybrid” or “standard”. When you want to set an other different route you need to go back to the GYM CENTER menu and follow the previous steps again. INFORMATION MENU This menu displays the saved training workouts. Press the iConsole+ logo and the screen below will appear. There is no limit to the number of saved training workouts.

However, make sure that all parts are completely dry before they are used again. Flow Fitness advises to fasten nuts and bolts, check and fasten pivot points once every six weeks. For fastening use the tool supplied with the product. To prevent unnecessary wear, the crosstrainer can only be used inhouse and in a dry environment.

7. Troubleshooting 7. Troubleshooting Problem During training the crosstrainer makes beeping or scratching noises. Solution Beeping or scratching noise are mostly caused by the plastic cover hitting or scratching the metal frame. The solution to this problem is to spray this components with WD40. WD40 is available in hardware stores. Problem De computer doesn’t or badly reads your heart rate. Solution Receipt of the heart rate with use of the handle bar sensors is not consistent.
7. Troubleshooting Problem My tablet / smartphone can’t get a bluetooth connection with the iConsole. Solution 1. The iConsole+ App doesn’t communicatie with all types of tablets and smartphones. The devices that can be used with the iConsole+ App are listed at page 81. 2. The bluetooth function only supports one connection. Make sure your not connected to an other device while trying to connect to iConsole. 3. The connection can be disrupted by external factors.
