Two Year Limited Warranty
Flowtron warrants your electronic insect killer to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service for two years from date of original purchase. All parts except for burned out
bulbs, which are defective, will be repaired free of charge. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability are also limited in duration to the two year period from the original purchase
date.
The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any Flowtron bug killer which as been subject to misuse, neglect or accident, nor which is used for a purpose for which it is not designed, or which shall have
been repaired or altered in any way so as to adversely affect its performance and reliability. Service by unauthorized parties voids your warranty. Warranty covers only the original purchaser. Commercial and/or
professional use is excluded from warranty coverage.
Flowtron neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for it any other liability in connection with its product. No responsibility is assumed for any consequential damages that may result from the use
of a Flowtron product, nor for damages due to accident, abuse, lack of responsible care, the afxing of any unauthorized attachment, loss of parts or subjecting this unit to any but the specified voltage.
If the unit fails to operate during the warranty period, send the product, along with purchase receipt showing purchase date and description of the problem to: Flowtron Service Center, 15 Highland Avenue,
Malden, MA 02148. Transportation costs for returning any defective product are the responsibility of the consumer.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Troubleshooting and Repair Analysis

Maintenance
Cleaning: Your insect killer is equipped with self-cleaning grids and
require no special maintenance other than cleaning insect debris from
the bottom of the unit. This should be done frequently using a small
soft brush or blower such as a portable hair dryer, or the exhaust
attachment of a vacuum cleaner.
Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning. Do not clean your insect
killer with a water spray or the like.
Bulb Replacement
1. Disconnect unit from electric source.
2. Depress latch and remove plastic bulb retainer at
base of unit as shown.
3. Bulb can now be pulled down out of its socket.
4. Insert replacement bulb into socket.
5. Replace plastic bulb retainer and secure latch.

Notice:
Ultraviolet or "black light" is invisible to the eye, and its
ability to attract insects diminishes over time. Therefore, although the
bulb appears to be functioning it should be replaced every season to
maintain optimal “black light” effectiveness.
