2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Clear, micro porous plastic carrier containing

1-Octen-3-ol, which may be harmful if swallowed and can cause eye, skin and

respiratory irritation. 1,660 milligrams of 1-Octen-3-ol is absorbed onto a carrier

strip, encased in a 20-mil vinyl pouch that is covered with a polyesters film.

3. POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS INHALATION: Inhalation of 1-Octen-3-ol vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation. EYE CONTACT: 1-Octen-3-ol can cause irritation. SKIN CONTACT: 1-Octen-3-ol can cause irritation. INGESTATION: 1-Octen-3-ol may be harmful if swallowed and may cause stomach upset. CHRONIC: No known effects based on animal studies. CARCINOGENICITY: The ingredients in this product are not listed by NTP, OSHA, IARC or ACGIH as a carcinogen.

SECTION VI: HEALTH HAZARD DATA INHALATION: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician or poison control center. SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water immediately. Get medical attention if irritation develops or call poison center. EYE CONTACT: In cases of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
