Calibration
The thermal imager was calibrated at the manufacturer
using radiometric calibration technique traceable to the SI
(International System of Units) through recognized
National Metrology Institutes (such as NIST, PTB, NRC,
NPL, etc.).
To maintain instrument accuracy specifications, Fluke
recommends that an authorized Fluke Calibration service
center do calibration and general maintenance of the
imager every two years.
Environmental
The thermal imager is an optoelectronic device containing
specific infrared lenses and electronic printed circuit
boards. These components must be disposed of
specifically when the device is at the end of its use.
The manufacturer offers to take back the thermal imager
product from the customer in order to ensure that the
device is disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner when it is at the end of its use.
In this case, see How to Contact Fluke for more
information.
Service
According to the manufacturer's recommendation, the
thermal imager should be serviced by an authorized
Fluke Calibration service center at an interval of two
years to maintain optimum performance.
Please contact your equipment distributor or authorized
Fluke Calibration service center in the event of equipment
performance failure or to schedule regular maintenance
service. See How to Contact Fluke for more information.
