Automatic Backlight
The Meter’s backlight senses low-light conditions and
automatically turns on when necessary. The backlight
turns off after 30 seconds of Meter inactivity. To turn it
back on, press any button. The button pressed will not
activate its normal function. In low light, any button
pressed will turn the backlight on for 30 seconds. See
“The Setup Menu” to disable the auto backlight off.
Automatic Power Off
To conserve battery power, the Meter goes into sleep
mode after 20 minutes of non-use and remains in this
mode for 12 hours. After 12 hours in sleep mode, the
Meter completely shuts down. Use the Setup menu to
disable this function or to select 30 or 60 minute time out
periods. See “The Setup Menu”. Automatic power off is
disabled during logging.
