One of the unique features of TransType Pro is an integrated macro

programming language. With this feature you can program repeated tasks,

define custom font transformations, and integrate TransType Pro into a

font development system that may include other tools.

Macro programs in TransType Pro are written in the well-known and well-

documented Python programming language. In addition to support of

Python TransType Pro provides a set of classes and variables that open all

the TransType Pro data structures to the programming interface.

Please note that this chapter covers only the very basic features of
