High-Security Paper & Optical Media Destruction
The Formax Combi 0030 combines high-security paper shredding and optical media destruction in a convenient, mobile unit. It meets the
requirements of NSA/CSS Specication 02-01 for High Security Cross-Cut Paper Shredders and Specication 04-02 for Optical Media
Destruction Devices. The Combi 0030 is listed on the NSA/CSS EPL, and exceeds the 2018 requirements for particle size of less than
2mm for DVD and Blu-Ray destruction, producing particles less than 1.5mm

The paper cutting head shreds up to 8 sheets in a single pass and produces 0.8mm x 4.5mm particles. It features AutoStart/Stop,
AutoReverse to clear jams, a heavy duty molded plastic waste bin, steel cutting blades, and the EvenFlow™ Automatic Internal Oiling
System that lubricates the paper cutting blades automatically for peak performance.
The optical media system reduces media into nearly dust-sized particles less than 1.5mm

, surpassing the latest NSA mandate of particle
size less than 2mm for DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. It grinds up to 1,091 pieces per hour, including all types of CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray discs,
credit cards with smart chips and/or magnetic strips, CAC IDs, and SIM cards. The ne optical media particles are ltered and contained in
the integrated vacuum system for a cleaner work environment.
Standard features include a centralized toggle switch to ensure optimal power to each system, separate feed openings and waste
containment, an all-metal cabinet with heavy duty casters, and illuminated indicators which inform operators of low vacuum suction, waste
bin full and paper jam.
